Course: Developing Systematic Problem-Solving Skills

Duration: 2 days; registration at 8:00 AM day one, class begins at 8:30 AM; class ends at 4:00 PM final day.

Overview: Individuals and groups in every type of organization- manufacturing, distribution and financial- face simple or complex problems every day. Having an available toolkit of approaches to define, analyze and propose resolutions to problems can eliminate the paralysis and anxiety sometimes associated with facing new situations, and greatly reduce the time involved. Not every technique is right for every person or situation; having multiple approaches to choose from increases the chances of a successful resolution.

Attendees are asked to bring a business problem for individual analysis; group techniques will be used to approach a problem with entire class.

Who should attend: department managers, training leaders, project managers, quality and process improvement champions, key employees
