Course: Sales and Operations Planning

Duration: 2 days; registration at 8:00 AM day one, class begins at 8:30 AM; class ends at 4:00 PM final day.

Overview: Many detail plans optimize departmental performance at the expense of the overall profitability of the business. Sales and operations planning, properly viewed as a process and not a one-time event, brings together the demand planning, supply planning, finance and new product introduction functions to produce a consensus family level plan that provides the company roadmap for more detailed processes and helps eliminate the conflict between sales and manufacturing present in many companies.
