Course: Planning and Execution Systems Overview

Duration: 5 days; registration at 8:00 AM day one, class begins at 8:30 AM; class ends at 4:00 PM final day.

Overview: A common problem in any organization is functional isolation- each area knows its own activities but is often unaware of what goes on in other departments or the cross-functional impact of individual actions. The Planning and Execution Overview provides an overview of the total planning and execution cycle, stresses the integration and links between individual departments, and provides a basic understanding of all manufacturing, distribution and financial functions.

Executing and reporting against the plan

  • Traditional and lean production strategies

  • Cost development and financial reporting

Each area includes: Typical policy issues, comprehensive performance measurement definition, glossary, exercise or quiz.

Fee: $2195 US for 5 days; $1850 per person when 2 or more attend from same company. Includes materials and handouts, continental breakfast, lunch and coffee service but not dinner, lodging or transportation.
