BGI Process Modeling and
Measurement Tools

Overview

Modeling your business processes is an important prerequisite when mapping to new software system functions, preparing documentation for ISO and other third party certification, analyzing activities in the supply chain value stream, and instituting ongoing programs that incorporate best practices and use of business rules. Analyzing your business from a process standpoint, instead of focusing on isolated activities, allows you to optimize organizational performance as a whole and ensure that the performance of individual steps directly contribute to overall goals.

:: BGI Process Modeling and Measurement Tools

Instead of starting from scratch, the Bridgefield Group process modeling and measurement toolkit provides ready-made mapping, workflow and other tools that give you base models to work with that can be customized for your environment. The models include individual steps within a process, links and trigger events, flows between steps, input/output associated with each activity, data collection points, resources required and other information that assists in determining constraints, value-added steps in the supply chain, candidates for outsourcing and resource leveling.

The toolkit contains process maps based on business case scenarios from over 25 manufacturing, distribution, financial and IT areas, and includes over 800 typical performance measurements and examples of useful audits that ensure your operations are conforming to business rules.

:: Vertical markets and industries

Specific models, measurements and attributes are also included for the following vertical markets and industries:
